I have hair!

A few folks have asked if Luke has hair. Here is the answe.....

I am over 48 hrs now, where is my razor I need to shave my beard.

50 hours and I am feeling good. 11 diapers in the last 24 hrs. Dad is
a diaper changing champ and swaddle master. I love my mommy sooooo

Arlington on my way to work this morning. It was a beautiful sunrise.

Baby clothes from Japan and other great stuff

How exciting it has been to get packages from friends and family. We
can't thank you enough. Today we opened a package from a dear friend
in Japan and it had this little boy Japanese robe in it that we wanted
to share.

Hey! Why are all you guys red and I am Yellow? I feel like I ended up on the wrong team!

Little Dog with a BIG bone

Some things around our place never change. The smallest dog gets the big bone and defends it at all costs. Zoey spends a majority of her waking time taking it from one location to the next in an effort to hide it from her diabolical brother Max who is not even interested in it. It is Zoey's paranoia that fuels her pension for bone concealment. Oh, and this is a better picture of her new sleek look.

Haircuts

Wow! Do we look good or what? Daddy gave us some super tight trims
so we would be all churched up for the arrival of our brother. We
wonder which one of us he will ride first?

And his NAME is......

Provided the ultrasound pictures don't lie, we've decided to share the name we've picked for our son due on September 2nd.
Currently he has many alias's, some of our favorites are: Little Man, Pea Pod, Hey You, Son, Stecky, Tri-Baby, CrossFit Baby, The Tornado, Taz, etc.
By this point he may even think his name is one of the following phrases: "that was my bladder!", "I like my ribs right where they are thank you!", "Oh no, not another boxing match!" , "settle down in there!" or "Three, Two, One, GO!"

Although these are all very interesting, it eventually came down to us choosing between two stellar finalists:
1.) Snoop Skywalker Steckbeck
and
2.) Luke Alexander Steckbeck

And the winner is...... Drum Roll Please!

Wow! Leslie has really kept it together. You would not even know she was pregnant looking at her from the back. She is off to work now.

Friends and Family,
Over the last few months we've had numerous people ask us what we need for the little man that's about to join our lives. Well, the time is fast approaching, with a due date of 2 Sept, and we actually do need a few more items. We aren't the type to ask but since we've had such an overwhelming number of offers, we thought it best to post some information on where we're registered.

This belly is getting larger and more round by the day. She is so beautiful and such a great prego momma. She is ready to have him out. Apparently his kicks are getting really strong and can be quite uncomfortable especially when driving. Les spends about 2 hours in the car each day commuting back and fourth to work.

Where is all the time going?

With only a few more weeks before baby time is of the essence. It seems with each passing day a bit more panic/anxiety creeps in. Well, maybe panic is a bit of an extreme word to describe the situation, but part of me says/feels it is okay. Les is still resting this morning and I can only imagine the rest is the best for her. Time to brew a pot of coffee.
